“Evoking Awareness & Designing Sustainability” | 7:15 PM – 8:00 PM (Assembly Room)

Join Steven Siegel as he discusses his work addressing post-consumerism and sustainability, featuring his Fall 2019 commissioned sculpture created in collaboration with the Wexford Innovation Center and The Avenue Concept. The installation required diverse community participation to collect the sculpture’s materials from The Recycling Center, Save the Bay, community laundromats, and several local schools. The result is a piece exemplifying Providence’s unique evolving landscape and how the arts can be both a unified response and a call for action.
