11:30AM | Cultivating Innovation: Informal Conversations with RI’s Economic Gardener

Join us for an informal conversation, led by Tuni Schartner, Executive Director of Venture Café Providence and Rhode Island’s economic gardener on innovation for ocean state wind. Every week Tuni will lead the conversation with thought leaders from around Rhode Island touching on a number of topics important for innovators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses in Rhode Island.

12:00PM | Best Practices for ECommerce Stores to Drive Sales

There are several fundamental principles you can use to build sales on your ecommerce site, we’ll take a close look at the most important ones starring your product pages and checkout. We’ll also look at the marketing funnel and cover easy marketing strategies to employ. This workshop is for anyone new to ecommerce or wanting a review on conversion driving best practices.

Kerlyne Jean-Baptiste founded KerlyGirl in 2018 to provide natural haircare products, guided by African botanical science, that are effective for women with coily hair types. Kerlyne will share her startup story as well as show off her ecommerce platform www.kerlygirl.com.
