The National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium provides awards to research and innovation. NOWRDC has awarded $17.5M in projects and will double that in the next 2 years. 1:15 PM | Startup Story: Vinci VR with SeaAhead

Join us for a Startup Story featuring, Eagle Wu of Vinci VR brought to us by SeaAhead. Startup stories showcase local innovators, startups and small businesses with their own session dedicated to sharing what they’ve learned with the Venture Café Community.

Eagle Wu founded VinciVR Inc. in 2017. VinciVR, Inc. creates Virtual Reality training tools in use in high consequence/risk industries. Vinci’s tools have shown to improve trainee performance by as much as 50%, improve pass rates by 30%, and lower trainee costs by as much as 90%. Vinci’s latest tool is Codex, a platform that enables teams to create, share, and analyze VR training without the need to code. Its partners include the US Department of Defense, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, and Massachusetts Clean Energy and Technology Center.

 

Vinci is currently participating in the Inaugural Sea Ahead Blue Swell Startup Incubator and will be interviewed by Alissa Peterson, co-founder of SeaAhead.
